Moon Cycle + Menstrual Cycle

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away (well, not that far, but damn it feels far), women were celebrated during their periods. Yep, you heard it right - celebrated!

During that time of our Moon, women were sent to relax and restore, like the true goddesses they were. They were pampered with massages, given the finest foods, and allowed to take naps whenever they pleased. (can you even imagine?) It was like a vacation, but without having to pack a suitcase! Sign us up!

Men were also encouraged to give women some space and not bother them with trivial matters. It was a time for women to recharge their batteries and come back even stronger, ready to tackle anything that came their way.

Doesn't that sound just like what we need? Honestly, it only seems fair.

Free Moon is here with some ideas to help you relax and recharge during your moon:

  1. Take a bubble bath fit for a queen! Add some essential oils, light some candles, and put on some soothing tunes to help you unwind. Block the outside world out for a little bit.

  2. Netflix and chill (literally). Snuggle up under a blanket and binge-watch your favorite shows. Don't forget the popcorn, chocolate and heating pad!

  3. Get creative! Break out your art supplies and let your inner artist run wild. Paint, draw, or make something with your hands.

  4. Indulge in some self-care. Give yourself a facial, paint your nails, or try out a new hairstyle. You deserve to feel pampered and pretty!

  5. Get some fresh air. Take a leisurely stroll through nature, go for a bike ride, or simply sit outside and soak up some sun.

  6. Take a nap. There's nothing wrong with catching up on some much-needed rest. Curl up with a cozy blanket and snooze away.

  7. Dance it out! Have a damn dance party if it feels right. Blast your favorite tunes and let loose. Dance like nobody's watching. Dancing is a great way to boost your mood and release those feel-good endorphins.

  8. Make some comfort food. Whip up your favorite meal or treat yourself to some takeout. Eating delicious food always makes us feel better!

Remember, goddesses, it's important to take care of yourself during your moon. Take some time to relax and recharge, and don't forget to celebrate the amazing and powerful woman that you are!
